Rinse * Clean * Dry *

  • Rinse your grillz in warm (never hot) water. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and a mild, non-abrasive dish soap to gently clean the interior and exterior crevices.

  • Never use toothpaste or harsh chemical jewelry cleaners on your piece. Standard toothpastes contain abrasives meant for enamel that will permanently micro-scratch and dull polished gold.

  • Keep the piece dry with a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth. Allow it to air-dry fully before placing it into storage to prevent moisture retention.

Building Routine

  • Your custom piece shouldn't just be saved for special occasions. Keeping your mouth mold somewhere visible reminds you to wear it during your more private, everyday routines.

  • Whether it be walking your dog, watering your plants, or reading a book out loud— the more often your piece is worn, the better it will fit which also helps build your confidence when wearing it around others.

  • Because it should always be handled with clean hands, let the bathroom mirror be your starting point, whether you are at home or out.

Keeping it Safe

  • Remove Before Eating: Never chew food or gum while wearing your grillz. Food particles can trap bacteria against your teeth and scratch the polished surface of the metal.

  • Remove Before Smoking: Heat from smoke can rapidly tarnish and discolor precious metals, as well as damage your enamel or lead to gum line recession.

  • Remove Before Drinking: consuming sugary, acidic, or hot liquids can tarnish your piece.

  • Your Carrying Case: When your piece is not in your mouth, always store it securely inside its protective case to prevent accidental warping or scratching. Be sure to clean the case occasionally with warm, soapy water to stop bacteria from transferring back onto your clean grillz

Issues fitting

  • If your piece ever feels like it is not fitting correctly, always try gently placing it onto your mouth mold first to check its alignment. Never force or bend the metal.

  • If it still requires adjustments after testing it on the mold, you are always welcome to reach out to the studio to schedule a re-fitting.
